Hallo zusammen , ich bin neu hier im Forum und habe folgendes Problem Ich habe mittels Video Grabber meinen analogen Videorekorder per USB Anschluss an den PC angeschlossen und den VLC Mediaplayer geöffnet . Nun möchte ich das Video incl. Ton auf die Festplatte bringen , aber leider hat das bislang nicht geklappt . Was muss ich einstellen dass es klappt. Bin schon am vertzweifeln.

Wie heißt der Grabber genau ?
Teminal mal öffnen und
lsusb
eingeben , und das Ergebnis hier zeigen .
Tonausgänge , am Grabber angeschlossen ? oder an der Soundkarte ?
Kann dein VLC DVD's wiedergeben (wegen des Codecs) ?

Hallo soyo, ich habe das Linux Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS , 64 bit , Der Videograbber ist von TCM und fogendes ist am Videorekorder angeschlossen Scartanschluss hinten voll belegt , rot,weiß und gelb an den scartanschluss und alle 3 scartstecker an den Videograbber

kein USB gezeigt wird .

MEDIEN , AUFNAHMEGERÄT
Aufnahmemodus :Video Camera
Video Gerätename: /dev/video0
Video -Standart : PAL
dann Wiedergabe drücken . (wenn dein VideoRecorder läuft solltest du nun schon mal nen Bild sehen )

das Video kann ich schon sehen , das klappt schonmal , allerdings habe ich immer noch kein Ton , vielleicht leigt es auch daran dass im Audiogerätename " hw:0,0 steht . Kann ja sein .
Ich war auch schon am überlegen ob ich Linux Mint anstelle von Ubuntu auf den PC spiele, wenn das die Lösung wäre....

Ne . Brauchst wegen des Grabbers nicht Mint ist wie Ubuntu (auch wenn ich jetzt gehängt werde) . Die haben die selbe Struktur.

hast du außer hw:0,0 noch andere ?
Hast du unten in der Taskleiste nen Lautsprecher Icon ? rechte Maustaste , Klangeinstellung , Eingang ?
Wenn alle Stricke reißen , hatte ich unter Windows auch mal , gibts nen Adappter , Klinke auf Cinch , in den Cinch kommen die beiden weiß/rot Kabel ,
und die Klinke in den blauen Eingang der Soundkarte , dann macht halt Die die Soundaufnahme .
Aber eigendlich sollte es gehen , wenn die richtige hw gewählt , und in den Klangeinstellungen nichts auf Stumm steht .
Wenn wir das haben kommen wir noch zu den Aufnahmeeinstellungen , DVD ist das maximum für ne Video Kasette .

ich habe es geschafft sowohl einen Ton als auch ein Bild zu bekommen und zwar habe ich im Audio Gerätename "hw:2,0" eingestellt . Vielen Dank für deine Infos die du mir gegeben hast.
