Hello, I installed VLC ver. 3.0.20 Vetinari 64 bit on my iMac Monterey 12.6.6. Works GREAT but when playing a track from a Playlist, after pressing STOP in the middle of a track's playback, SOMETIMES the player will NOT Resume Play from Last Stop position and instead, begins the track from the beginning. Sometimes it will resume play from the last stop position, but usually not. Is there a "fix" to this problem WITHOUT having to re-install the program and HOPE the problem disappears?
I look forward to some advice.

Try to perform below steps
:
Open VLC.
Go to VLC -> Preferences in the top menu.
In the Preferences window, click Show All at the bottom left to access advanced settings.
Navigate to Input or Codecs.
Ensure that Continue playback is set to <Always> or <Ask>.
